John Stewart-Jones

John is a retired GP, who is the Chairman of JDWG.
Born in Wales, John and his wife have lived in Jersey for 43 years and have three daughters.

Dr Rachel Ruddy

Rachel is a Consultant Psychiatrist living and working in Jersey. She has worked in mental health for over 20 years and is passionate about health care that addresses the whole person.
Rachel is a member of the Dementia Strategy Steering Group for Jersey and a member of the Clinical and Professional Advisory Forum for the Jersey Care Model.

Dr Helen Thomas

Helen is a Jersey resident and practicing GP. She has been a doctor for 24 years and a GP for the last 20 years.
Helen has held various roles throughout her career including working in St Michael’s hospice in Hereford and having experience of end of life care.
She has worked in A&E and experienced the life and death experiences there.
As a GP she supports patients with end of life care and fully understands the need and comfort of good care.

Helen Arkwright

Helen worked in care for over twenty years, initially as a support worker for adults with learning disabilities and later as a care home manager for adults with profound mental and physical disabilities. 
For several years prior to her retirement in 2013 she worked as an NVQ Assessor in Health and Social Care.

William Church

William is an Independent Business Consultant who is helping the group out in a professional capacity with media relations.
